Dear Seekers,
What is the hardest part of letting go for you? Is it the uncertainty? Avoidance of the grief you might feel once you do? The loss of control? The unfamiliar sensations in your body when you loosen your grip?
One thing I have learned about what makes it hard for me, is sometimes I mix up giving up with letting go. Submitting was once the most dangerous thing, and now it's the very thing that could free me?! Isn't it a mind fuck that we spend the first half of our lives developing an ego in order to survive the pangs of existence (Carl Jung), and then the second half trying to let go of it so we can move through the world less governed by fear?
