Facilitator:
Join Ash Rucker, movement educator, founder of Therapart, and Spoke facilitator, for a three-part summer series to express yourself freely, sweat, play, and create. Each session (come one or come all) will allow you to access 3 emotions: self-compassion, joy, and serenity. This movement and art experience offered 1 time each month of summer, will give you the tools to dive deep into how these emotions live in our minds, bodies and souls. Each session will be inspired by artists and activists such as Bell Hooks, Maya Angelou and Alive Walker.

Many of us carry self-consciousness, question our lovability and struggle with accepting ourselves. Through guided movement, visualization, journaling, community dialogue, free movement practices and a therapeutic art experience, this session in the Move Through series will support you in shaking off the self-judgment & self-criticism, to make space for the easeful, neutral and accepting feelings underneath. We will take inspiration from bell hook's "all about love".
