Kelly George, founder of Real Resilience and Spoke Facilitator.
Kelly George is a native Brooklynite, bipolar neurodivergent, queer, Black-Latinx woman born to immigrant parents from Panama and Trinidad lands. A beautifully complex multifaceted human. Kelly founded Real Resilience Coaching to support leaders, organizations, and communities in designing emotionally just work ecosystems, custom designed with the neurodiverse community in mind. Invisible disabilities are not deficits, and accessibility needs affect everyone at some point in their life. Now, how does it feel to choose to exist as you are!?
So many of us have had to wear masks in order to be safe, accepted or loved. We’ve learned to seek validation outside of ourselves and believe these critical or inaccurate narratives that have been written for us by family, society or past selves. We want to free ourselves up from the burden of approval seeking and self-judgment, but we don’t know how. Are you ready to take off a mask of a past you, and illuminate YOUR present badass bold self?
In this Spoke Circle we will use narrative strategies (think: storytelling and rescripting) to write our own stories, ones of resilience and self-truth. Join us to discover the pieces of you that are non-negotiable and take a step toward being UNAPOLOGETICALLY you.
